A no-brainer for sure: bye bye streaming. Ironically Netflix has been trying to push streaming to save money on mailing discs, but it will actually be cheaper for me now to go from one to two out at a time and use the second disc for TV and the miscellaneous stuff I got from streaming.

I don't mind the wait for streaming as it will be just like when I waited for movies to come on HBO/Showtime HD before I had BR, but I totally agree on the PQ/AQ issue, and consquently I only stream comedies, dramas, foreign, old TV, and indie stuff (no sci-fi/action, which I'll get on disc)...

Most movies are out on video before I even realize they aren't in theaters anymore, so having to wait another month won't make me buy it or switch to Blockbuster. I'm hopeful for some decent movies finally on Netflix's streaming service now that I've burned through most of the watchable...

I would never wear 3-D glasses over my glasses for my regular home TV viewing. Once in a while in the theater is OK, but not every time I pop in a movie or play a video game.

Thanks for posting the video. Good to know it works for at least one person. I plan to be trying it out myself tonight. Interface looks very Roku-like (though I imagine it's about the same for every external device that streams Netflix).

Pardon my ignorance, but what is an EHD? Yes, streaming quality certainly isn't BD caliber, but they're approaching HD cable with some of the better encodes, especially newer TV shows. (And it helps to watch primarily on a smaller, 32" screen.)
