I think he's right about the subscriber numbers.

If I was running VOOM (which I am not) I would use a different company for the de-installs than I used for the installs. This would keep the installers and de-installers from ever knowing that there was a problem with churn (if there is one).

Will that leave them enough installers to do the number installs needed to grow VOOM as fast as they need to? It seems like OTA installation was sort of a "lost art" until VOOM came along. Why didn't VOOM do this already?
