That is an option. I do have a rotor control box but left the rotor on the roof at my previous house in Maryland. I wish they were wireless. I would need like 100ft of cable to reach where it is now. Is that an April fools about Voom supplying one? I've never heard of them supplying rotors.

I have that same problem on SciFi. My TV volume goes from 0-50. My normal volume is between 7-10 for everything. On SciFi I had to go up to about 25 just to hear it and it still wasnt really loud. I switched channels and almost got blasted out of my chair.

That may or may not work. I tried it with a Radio Shack diplexer and a few of the Voom channels got screwed up including SciFi and one of the Showtime channels. They are in reverse polarity or something and when I tuned to them I was seeing the Bravo channel and one of the sports channels...

Just wondering why you have no info in your pg. Is it always like that? I get that if I have to unplug the box for some reason but it comes back in 10m. And I have only noticed one channel showing something different than what was on the guide and that was 2 nights ago on SHOHD.

The dishes are all mostly the same. The lnb's are different. I had a tripple lnb direc dish and one of them is compatible with Voom. After getting signal with it the installer decided the internal switch would not work with the OTA so he stuck the voom dish up there. I dont know about dish.

My setup does not have the power pass or the splitter thats under it. Only the diplexer with 2 outputs-one for each stb. They are separated at the box with the plug in diplexer on the back. I get all locals except one. That power pass may be blocking in your set-up but I'm not sure.

Got a DVD from Voom in the mail a few weeks ago that put that same spyware on my PC. Spybot got rid of it.

Yeah, what was $50 for? I sub'ed on line and got charged $1 after the install. Less than a week later I got the first bill for $100. Today, less than 2 weeks later I have to go up on the roof and realign the dish that blew around after not being tightened down by the installer.

I had this same thing happening on a TV with only composite in. I switched the STB to native output and that solved it.
