Down button? That moves the cursor to installer menu.

When I hit OK, it says the secure firmware version is V16.

If I go into the installer menu, in the upper right it says software version 02.40

I see nothing anywhere near 7.33

Ah, I got it.

Highlight 6. Press OK. THEN the down button..

HAL version is 7.33

Here is the quickest way to check your software version: On your VOOM remote, press "Help" and then "Info". You should see three lines of version info. The last line should look like this: "Nep: 726" or "Nep: 733"

By the way, this is question #4 on our list of 10 Most Frequently Asked Questions in the FAQ... ;)

Ron, get a picture of yourself standing by the Voom set top box with HDNews turned on your TV set.

It would be great for Voom for a superstar like you to back Voom.

How about a pic of your "favorite" girlfriend??

Welcome here, and it looks like you have already dealt with some of the bad stuff that can happen on your initial install..Actually, once things are up and running, you shouldnt have many issues...
Do you live on the east coast or west coast?
