Bought one of these to reduce FM broadcast band interference that can occur when using a SDR dongle. It works pretty well.

PSK31 must be old fashioned I guess.

The CB band is open here so went down to 10m beacon bands. Heard VE, and 4, 5, and 9 land beacons. QSB on most but it's good to hear some 10m activity. 28.077 is buzzing with digital signals but not sure what they are, PSK31?

I'd have suggested the HackRF One, but it's advertised as covering 1 meg to 6 gigs and costs a lot more than what you have budgeted. I've owned two in the past and found them to be good down to the AM broadcast band. You can use SDR# to run it but not sure about other software. I don't think...

Arm, have been tempted numerous times in the past to take the plunge but never got one. There have been reviews of the CountyComm in The SWLingPost blog, check that out and enjoy the new rcvr. Too bad about the FRG-7, had a few and they are great receivers.
