Don't you love people who talk through their a$$

I know what you mean and many of these women feel ashamed when they meet other women and telling them what your husband is doing, i guess they think we are boys with toys and not grown up, and what is grown up actually? are we grown up when a woman tells us we are? it seems so in many cases...

Yes we are talking less than a inch here :-) i can't install a longer LNB than what i have, this is the only LNB type i can use if i want to move the dish, thank god Inverto make short neck LNBs. Yes i did alot of calculation with sinus and cossinus, what you do is that you calculate how far up...

Here is my current setup, Channel Master 1.2M with actuator covering about 53 Degrees East to 20 West, the dish is exactly calculated in current position to pass the signal onto the entire surface. I've also modified the Inverto Black Ultra LNB to flange so i can use the Channel Master feedhorn...

    Electrical Noise interference SuperPowerJack HARL-3618+

I removed the whole motor and magnets inside and cleaned it and oiled the gears. Tried now and the interference seems to be gone for now anyway, could be faulty assembled from the beginning.

    Electrical Noise interference SuperPowerJack HARL-3618+

Is there any fault in the DC motor that makes the interference as i don't have this problem with my old Superjack, design fault? Funny thing is that it's only crackling when moving the dish in one direction.

    Electrical Noise interference SuperPowerJack HARL-3618+

I have a SuperPowerJack that seems very cheap in quality which i bought 3 days ago. It's the HARL-3618+ model. I get electrical interference in my loudspeakers, it only comes when i move the motor in one direction, it crackles and sparks in the loudspeakers. I have tried to isolate the...

Help! Bailing out of window$ at last!

It's because Linux users are most often much smarter than Windows users, a experienced Linux user doesn't think it's complicated to install programs. It's just that you are used to a dumb system called Windows where you don't need to use your brain, the sooner you get out of Windows the...

Tuner and demodulator chip models comparison

I had the new STV0903 demodulator inside my previous Sharp tuner in my IPBOX 9000HD and it gave a dramatic improvement in SNR compared to the old tuner from Sharp with CX24116 inside. Has anyone tested the Broadcom demodulator used in DM8000s and the new Vu+ Duo Linux boxes?

    AB IPBox 9000HD (NEW)

If you want to run Enigma2 on the 9000HD you need the Conexant CX24116 demodulator as the STV0903 demodulator will freeze and lock up with Enigma2. Why it locks up in Enigma2 is because the developer for E2 doesn't yet have a proper working driver for it. If you use the original DGS...

    Jaeger SMR-1224 EL Group Buy?

I really don't know as Ponny the German owner of the shop says it works very good. Best thing would have been if jaeger never downgraded the metal quality of their motors, but it's like everything else these days from Asia where quantity comes first. I have used mine for almost 2 years now...

    Jaeger SMR-1224 EL Group Buy?

Linux receivers are popular here in Europe because most people share their cards between them. I would not recommend putting the Andrew 1.8m SMC dish on the Jaeger 1224 as Jaeger doesn't have the same strength in their material as before. Satshop24 Digitalreceiver Analogreceiver DVB-T LNB DVB...

    I want a Wave Frontier T90!

I can tell you that this dish performs better than the T90 Wavefrontier due to the gain figures given by Wavefrontier are only theoretical gain. My friend in the Netherlands have both the Visiosat and T90 and he says the Visiosat performs better with a small margin. I don't beleive the...
