What is the maximum run length for RG-6 cable from LNB to receiver? No switches, no motors just a direct connection.

Has anyone had any luck with a mini BUD getting any transponders on 103w SES3/AMC1, in particular DW on 3740 V 29270? It is DVB-S and I seem to remember reading that some people had better luck with DVB-S on a mini BUD.
