    c band on 36"?

I tried it on my 30" fortec. I got analog C-Band some watchable with noise and exactly 1 digital signal. I have wondered since then what would have of happened if I had turned the LNB around and just pointed it at the satellite. I would guess it would be much the same results. Wholeshoe

Get a perfectly plumb pole, and then carefully adjust for your true south satellite, find a sat on the far end (or as far as you can) and make micro adjustments from there until you are tracking the arc. Wholeshoe

    3abn/Geosat Pro 90 cm dish Owners...SOUND OFF!

I put one of these up for a coworker a few years ago and had no problems at all with it. As a matter of fact we eyballed it with the compass and had signal immediatly! From there we just fine tuned from there. The easiest dish install I have ever done bar none. I think God was smiling on...

    Snow on dish.

Fuel Oil works for snow hauling in dump trucks too. Although on your dish it might not do wonders for the grass underneath.

    Green line on Nasa?

The top of the screen's noise is the VBI or Vertical Blanking Interval. It is extra lines of video containing things like test patterns and Closed Captioning. It has been around for ever. I have no idea about what the green line on the edge of the screen is. Wholeshoe

    Motorola DSR-4402X

I work with them every day at work and I cannot say I have seen horizontal scroling at the bottom of the screen. As for the audio there are audio menus under the Installation menu (I think), there are many choices there. You are probably going from a Balanced Audio Output out of the receiver...

    Motorboating

On my fortec (lifetime ultra) you press menu and go all the way to the right to the system setup menu and then down to Factory Setting. It will ask for a code which on mine is 0000. This will erase all information. So you will have to set up your system from the start after doing this...

    Motorboating

Try a Factory reset. I used to have this problem with my BEC receiver and it was totally in the software. I would be a good start before tearing into the electronics. Of course it is a pain in the butt to scan everything back in.

    C-Band with a 36" dish?

I once got one spanish channel that was C-Band on a 30" dish and nothing else that was DVB. Analog channels were barley watachable/distinguishable. Your going to need a bigger dish for RFD I'm afraid. Wholeshoe

120cm dish with C-Band performance - Now with HD!

If the main problem with a 1.2 M for C-band is the beamwidth being too wide for 2 degree spacing why can you use the pinhole theory. You know when you take in index card and place a tiny pinhole through it and you can focus on objects much better. You would have to make it out of metal. I...

    Total newbie here... please help!

That particular LNB happens to have 2 seperate outputs. One for H polarities and one for V. Either needs the receiver lnb LO set at 10750. It is in the menus of the receiver when setting up for a particular satellite. If there is no switch to "combine" the H and V polarities you can only...

Good point on the LNB Pete. I just thought with the inexpensive cost of a new one it would be worth it. If your just itching to get something though the primestar lnb will work like Pete said. I think they usually have an H and V stamped on the end of them for Horziontal and Vertical...

    Total newbie here... please help!

You need to invvest in a Linear LNB. Your Primestar LNB should be linear but probably isn't worth messing with. Also you need to set the LNB LO on the Pansat to 10750. If this is not done you will never see a signal. The 30" Primestar should make a fine dish and likewise your pansat...
