Got it here in Illinois 91-92% signal quality on Coolsat 6000.

I get 91-92 quality in Illinois. I used to have issues with RTN 66-67 quality, but they apparently increased their signal. It comes in very well now. I would look for obstruction issues.

Iceberg, Pardon my ignorance, but Is there a simple decoder to slip in-between the output of my coolsat and audio input of my tv and utilize my tv speakers in lieu of a sonic voom?

On your 250ft run, did your ribbon cable have 16 or 14 guage wire for the actuator? I have read that using 16 guage on long runs slows down the motor speed. Did you have any problem with that?

No, There's not any trees or any type of obstruction. I don't have the usals setup. It's DisEqC 1.2. I have been manually searching for live transponders, then i set their position.
