I have a pansat 3500, and also have been using my brothers mercury II lately. Both recievers work well. I would recommend either one of them. I'm kind of partial to the pansat though, since i've used it for the last 2 or 3 years.

Unless you have a pc card, the only reciever that i know of that will do 4:2:2 along with the other stuff (hd, 8qpsk, etc...) is the quali-tv. It appears that conaxsat is coming out with a conaxsat carbon hd reciever that supposedly does 4:2:2, hd, etc..... Does anyone know anything...
