4:2:2 What is the best method to recieve it.

I've got my fta system set up with an mpeq 2 reciever. I also have a twinhan starbox vision plus usb reciever for my laptop, which i have NEVER got to work right. My question is, what is the BEST way to get 4:2:2? Should i try another PC card or do they have recievers that do 4:2:2.

Problems with the Starbox revolve around:
1) twinhan drivers
2) receiver software
3) USB drivers on your computer
4) USB hardware on your computer
5) codec on your computer to decode the video
6) computer horsepower to do the job

Get someone to give you chapter and verse on all those points and I think you can watch 4:2:2 on your Twinhan Starbox USB.

I have a DVB World USB FTA Receiver for my laptop and a Quali-TV QS1080IR slaved to my Fortec Mercury II 420 Receiver. Haven't used the DVB World USB FTA Receiver since I purchased my Quali-TV about six months ago. The Quali-TV is great for 4:2:2 feeds and HD feeds as well.

Pretty much, as of now. In a week, maybe not.

No, nothing for sure, but you never know in this market when something substantial will be released. I am just saying that RIGHT NOW, it is the only one other then a commercial receiver.
