Pluto missing OTA channels in guide on a Roku TV

I receive 24 stations OTA, connected through Roku TCL t.v. When I open Pluto, it's missing many local stations. Is there a limit on how many it will show in guide? It also jumps from 3.1 (NBC) to 3.3 (ION) leaving 3.2 out. Also will get to 45.1 (PBS) but leaves out 53.1-.4 and 61.1, .2. Tried...

Another reason to drop your Cable/Sat. Service, the Power Bill

It always also helps if you do leave it plugged in to unplug the unit 30 seconds to a minute..just like a modem and router..."declutters" and refreshes everything. Usually for me I try at least 1-2 times per week.

    What is iGoCast Live TV?

It can be tricky using any kind of mouse to scroll using the scroll bar on the right side..even on a larger tv screen! I, too sometimes just type in the search menu.

    What is iGoCast Live TV?

I found this source from a fellow poster in a forum I believe was OTA about 3 weeks ago. Recently we lost Antenna TV, & RETRO TV. Both also are now on an LP station. The main feeds of Antenna TV and THIS seem to be a satellite feed as no local ad insertions like WRCB did in the Chattanooga...

    STIRR stream

Thanks for directing me to Antenna TV. WRCB in Chattanooga TN took off Antenna TV 3.2 for Light TV. When I noticed I could get Light TV awhile back streaming, it didn't set too well as Antenna TV was moved to a very directional LP station. It is now on a .2 where Retro TV is the .1, but agsin...

    The YouTube TV Thread

You can always get MLB.TV on its own app..A lot of neat features as well using a laptop like 4 screens at a time..not to mention cable wants $199 & MLB.TV only wants $118 for all pre & regular season games.

Question about savings as a cord cutter

Zookster, I decided to add back YTTV and keeping Philo. I reviewed most services & packages. Even at my $40 base price with YTTV, I am spolied by the DVR, especially with many restrictions lifted for VOD..(Never was a big deal..) Between Philo and YTTV like you, maybe a few channels more would...

Question about savings as a cord cutter

I just have 25Mbps down. But I did get to keep my 1TB limit. I run at most usually 600GB or less. That's at 1080 60fps with YTTV. Netflix I have set to play medium setting (up to .7GB per hr and I must select next show so it doesn't auto play next ep. Being just me, for now it does great..(net.)...

Question about savings as a cord cutter

Zookster, what I was thinking. Currently with just Philo and an outdoor antenna I pay $20 for actual t.v. service. No fee for HD, Philo has built in DVR, yes, I'd have internet anyway. Next speed up is only 60 Mbps, and is $10 more with minimal increase in upload speed (not really of concern as...

Question about savings as a cord cutter

Obvious savings..1)$14.50 sports & tv fee 2)$10 HD fee 3)$10 DVR fee 4)$11 gateway fee--Immediate $35 saved..however speed is is 25Mbps down (sufficient for just me..) But looking at currently having just Philo and antenna, Bundled price for similar channels is after taxes/fees with cable/net...

    The YouTube TV Thread

I think all channels that can be broadcast in 1080 bow are, and at 60fps. Funny how when it first launched ppl were wondering and complaining about limited support on devices, channel offerings, and fps. Even with a $5 increase, it has gotten a foothold in the market. It may not be the largest...

    Philo

Exactly the same service lineup I have..when I add the digital subnets OTA that YTTV doesn't carry, quite a few channel offerings..before even if if I stream Pluto Tv or Tubi TV. Sent from my LG-M322 using the SatelliteGuys app!

    DNow poised to surpass Sling

Bottom line, it's up to the consumer. If you choose a smaller selection of channels with a dvr built into the service at a cheaper price, and you're happy, perfect. If you choose a cable/sat provider that offers niche channels that are a must have for you, and you wish to pay an extra dvr fee...

    Super Old School Cord Cut

I think you misunderstood. I was agreeing with you. Time shift rather from VHS to a Tivo or any digital DVR seems to be more popular these days. Lol..as far as I remember is the VHS recorder (assuming that was the first "DVR" of sorts minus the digital part..but I know I've been reading lately...

    Super Old School Cord Cut

I personally think the OP's idea of vhs is entertaining..adding a dvd player w/a converter for an older tv is an option. You can go to Wal-Mart, buy an inexpensive HD 32 inch tv add protection plan between $5-8 for a few more yrs and then no converter required. Basically just plug and play from...

    Streaming Channel Comparasions

Comfortably_numb, I had purchased a Chromecast with the ethernet connection. Only reason I returned it was I was testing diff devices for DirectvNow buffering issues..lol (no diff) I really liked it. 1 drawback was if using Wi-Fi, it was almost impossible to tell if you had connected unless you...

    Local channels and Sling TV

Sling wanted to add CBS and all its affiliate stations awhile back. It happened when DISH satellite contract renewal came up. Sling pushed hard, CBS pushed back, many markets temporarily lost CBS and DISH caved and settled for just keeping locals on their satellite service. I will say I live in...

Who has totally left major tv providers?

I think I had the 721 forever!! Loved that thing!! Where I lived they had to come out like 3 seperate times to change dishes out. Started with one 18" dish, then had to have a wing dish, then removed those teo and went to superdish. Finally moved to a single dish that could see just the edge of...

Is Sling TV in most general cases stable?

Currently have DTVN. Expires tonight. Have had new wiring, new wireless gateway, 2 new Roku devices. 1 ethernet connected. All have same issues of blue square and "connection lost, working on fixing that." Multiple chats, resets of all hardware. Not being picky, but actually had an agent say...

Who has totally left major tv providers?

Had DISH for 13 yrs. Loved it. Always got promos for loyalty. Before Hopper, had a 721 DVR. Loved it. Heard amazing things about Hopper 3. I have DirectvNow and use apps for most shows I miss for "on demand." To each their own

Philo Tv debuts 37 channel streaming package for $16 a month

Someone in another group I am on, on Facebook brought up the good point that they were on a very limited income and while it does lack a few key channels, for that person, and I agree, it is a very attractive package and price.

Who has totally left major tv providers?

Enjoy OTA, took DirectvNow, (share with dad) Netflix (share with mom) Pluto, not to mention free apps on Roku Premiere. Smithsonian Channel full length shows are good, PBS has the entire Vietnam series recently aired all for free on demand thru their app. Just have to choose your local ststion...
