Sean - I'm curious, since I also had Adant install mine -- is your installer's name David? He did pretty good with my install.

My installer said not to "power down" at night but to keep the unit in "standby" so that it could do it's downloads. He said, "If the green icon light is on, it is in standby." I can't find anything that says how to put it into standby mode. Anyone know?

I have found the same thing tonight. The 1080i works best. My 567w goes a little wacky through DVI when I switch VOOM's output. So, I have to switch away from the DVI input and then back to get it to reset. Tim

Wait...the system locked. So I held the power button for a few seconds until it went off. When it came back on, the locals now show up in the program guide. However, the entire program guide is still empty. Any way to force it to fill up?

No locals. An empty program guide. And same channels. Doing it again will help?

The first 4 channels in the guide are as follows: 0-4 (no info) 0-8 (no info) 0-10 (no info) 8-15 inVOOM (inside VOOM) Then 100 and on up.

Sean - I called tonight and the guy seemed very unsure and unfamiliar with my issue (local channels). He didn't even know what package I had until I prompted him to pull up my account. Thanks Sean. But I guess I'm still not sure the answer to the original question. If I have a Dish 500 pointing at 110/119 currently on my roof pointing just over the treeline - will the Voom pointing at 61.5 be aiming lower than that? I'm in northern Indiana on the Michigan border.
