i don't know the exact steps off hand, but if you go into the video settings, you can select if you have a 720p or 1080i tv. it will convert the signal to which ever you select.

i really enjoyed the VOD. there is a ton of stuff for the kids. the VOD movie channels pretty much have all the current movies which the channel is currently showing.

i just cancelled both hbo and the movie pack. never watched them except for the sopranos. however, that is a good deal. all premium channels for 20 bucks, hd included.
