On a side note, I do like the new interface. No more scrolling through a long row of channels. Much easier and nicer looking. I would even say the roku works a little better now, not so much buffering.

Sooo, this is weird, I have two Roku XD's and one got the update and the other didn't. When I tried to manually check for an update, it said it already was up to date. Apparently Roku must be rolling it out on some type of schedule according to serial numbers maybe?

Not really sure about that, every time I try it I get empty folder. You will also find all the series update automatically. The new episodes are there the next day. No commercials, and no recording conflicts or forgetting to set the dvr. Lots of British and Canadian tv. Watching a series...

Well as of right now at 12:35 pm, 1/9/13, CBC still works, and so does Mummybox. No problems whatsoever. Don't know what is going on.

Roku has many of these channels for free with their box. On the Mummy box channel, there are several Canadian channels as well as BBC, Irish news ect.

Just tried the Mega Channel pack in then playon scripts and it has a live stream of AMC . Just sayin' . Playon does charge for a lifetime fee or yearly or monthly, but I think it's worth it. Got the lifetime for $59.99.
