Ajak motor with 5 magnet for reed sensor

I think you should start from dismantling and cleaning. And then you will probably see if something is broken there.

    Big dish base

Currently, there is 1.8m Channel Master installed, but if I had 2.4m antenna that would certainly easily fit on the same pole. The base is about 1 meter deep and holds almost 1 ton of cement. And anchor-bolts (as on your picture) are used. I think it is possible to make the same type of mount...

    Big dish base

So, where is the problem, then?! Just make the mast removable and with adjustable plumbness, like I have made in several installations.

    Big dish base

Perhaps cuz for a relatively small base, it is better to have it deeper than local frost depth, so during winter the base will not move. In my case, the base is big and heavy and it was recommended by manufacturer.

    Big dish base

It is better to have some metal rebars. At least you will feel safer during stormy days.

    Big dish base

Unfortunately, there was some digging involved. And also metal rebars needed.

    Big dish base

6 years ago I made the basement for my 4.6m Andrew according (ish) what was recommended by manufacturer. Namely, 3.5x3.5x0.35m cement block. During those years nothing bad has happened. I think that for 3.7m mesh, the cement block can be ~ 2x2x0.3m

Just created my dish an offset

Very simple...such a setup will diminish performance of the antenna at least 3-4 times. So, a simple 1.2m offset antenna will perform better than this one. That is why it is a useless creation, IMHO.

Just created my dish an offset

I think it is a useless creation. I see no point to go this way.

Somehow, but I did not see posts from August. Yes, sure, it is Equatorial dish.

    Setting the pole

Yes, pictures are much appreciated. More than 5 years ago, I made this base for an antenna. It was a deep hole poured with almost 1 ton of concrete. After curing, I used anchor-bolts to attach a piece of thick-walled 140mm OD pipe with 6 welded nuts on it. Now it is possible to install and...

    Setting the pole

Sure, it is better to concrete it plumb. But, unfortunately, when you hang the antenna on the plumbness will, most likely, be gone. So, I would say, it is much better to have possibility to adjust the plumbness of the pole after concrete is cured.

    Feedplate ?!?

Johan! I think it is very easy to fabricate..... just make drawing and laser-cut from sheet metal.

Channel Master 1.83 with AZ/EL mount conversion.

No, it is exactly 33°. If you measure from the horizon then angle will be 57° which is the latitude of my location.

Channel Master 1.83 with AZ/EL mount conversion.

That, of course, could be an option, but not the best one IMHO.

Channel Master 1.83 with AZ/EL mount conversion.

Yes, correct, that angle better to have ~60*. Picture of the mount on photo has no declination adjustment (or I do not see it), so it will be not possible to perfectly adjust it.

Channel Master 1.83 with AZ/EL mount conversion.

I maybe do not understand your question, but those to are turn-buckles to adjust elevation of the antenna. Another adjustment possibility must be the declination.

Channel Master 1.83 with AZ/EL mount conversion.

Yes cuda7670 , in your case you better have ~60* where I have 33*.

Channel Master 1.83 with AZ/EL mount conversion.

More practical is to make this angle more or less same as elevation angle of the due-south satellite. Then, when antenna is pointed south, the tube will be vertical. There is a drawing I've made before cutting the metal.

Channel Master 1.83 with AZ/EL mount conversion.

cuda7670 I do not have pick-up, just a trailer. But, I think, if you lay couple of wooden boards, antenna on top, and strap everything firmly, then should be no problems. I've also seen that some users strapped 1.8m glass dish on the rails on top of the car and succeeded as well.
