1989, still have the the original GI 2730r rec.in a box. On the second actuator,upgraded to good norsat stuff on the corotor when I upgraded to a dsr 920, but just using a cheapie lnbf right now. That 2730 was ahead of its time for onscreen setup.

if you could reload an id, why would you reload your own. You would load some other id into it . I think that is called cloning, and was a big problem that digicypher was supposed to address. I bet ATS does not have one.

I think that you should use pulse and ground. The +5 terminal seems to only be for saginaw actuators with mech position sensors. Any other hook up in the man. use the other two plus the sh for the drain or sheild wire.

I agree . My X4 is somewhat to the east as well. If the quality # is high enough then does it really matter what the reciever displays as a signal #. I sure had to play around whith the scew to get X4 to come in well on my dish. For some reason it does not need the H and the V to = 90. in fact ...

My wife enjoys the DIY,Food,Fineliving chans. and has seen a notice on them that cable providers should be tuning in to the new sat. Does anyone know what sat that is and if we can get it with 4dtv. I check on moves at Onsat.com under updates and have seen nothing.

It would take a pretty big elevation change to get zero signal, and an arc is an arc. If you dont believe you have connection problems, try to turn the sat mount on the pole with the set bolts loose. Dont make any changes on the reciever because it was already set up and should still work...

Yes, I have have a corotor II with Norsat C and Ku band Lnbs. Originally The Ku band Lnb was installed to to watch 4dtv subscribed shows on x4. Fta was added later. If thats a 10' dish that you have signal should not be a problem. Stability on the digital stuff could be another matter though...

Don't pull that c band lnb off, you will be missing out on channels even if you are aimed only at g10. I'm in northern Alberta and I get plenty of signal even though my BUD kind of fell out of the back of a pickup and isnt quite as round as it should be. What are the specs on your c band lnb?

If the (common) ground on both units is common, and there is no additive voltage stuff happening then I dont see why not exept for one thing. Will changing the polarity with one unit leave the other one in the dust , not knowing the polarity has changed and assuming it is the same.
