Cold and snow in Chicago so games postponed a couple weeks for my daughter's team. Home opener next weekend in Green Bay isn't looking any better with temp in 30s and snow rain forecast. Softball and spring sports are tough in the Midwest.

Daughter's team won conference opener at Valpo today! Hit her 3rd home run of the season. I think that was her high school and summer career total ?

Daughters team dropped 2 games to Western Illinois, she went 4 for 6 with double and home run but doesn't mean much when the team loses . Team gets to enjoy an extra day in Chicago and then regroup before heading to Tampa for a week.

Games my daughter was supposed to play this weekend at SE Missouri State have been cancelled. Crappy weather all round I guess. Looking to play indoors in Chicago area now.

My daughters team (University Wisconsin Green Bay) projected to be back in tournament. They split opening weekend tournament games and my daughter hit here first collegiate home run.

My daughter's season came to a close yesterday but it was a fun ride. Got beat pretty handily by the #14 and #21 teams in the country, Minnesota and Auburn. Something to build on for next year, go UW-Green Bay Phoenix!

Anyone else think the PQ really sucks on TBS via Dish. Watching on 70" display at about 11ft and it is soft, blurry, smeared, no detail, etc. Very YouTube like. Wish these games were on CBS so I could get OTA.
