Hi! I am going to buy a new tv and am looking at CNET and they have the ST30 as a great value, and I saw one in bestbuy and was blown away. Only question is whether I should get that one discounted or wait until march and get the ST50. I will be getting it in the 55" varient. Thanks everyone. If there are any better tv's for the money please let me know!

Jason's comments don't count since he would likely buy the ST30 now and then trade it in on the ST50 when it was released 
However, consider that the ST50 likely won't hit stores for 4-6 months yet. There will always be something better "just around the corner". The sanest strategy is to research what is out now, buy the best you can and then stop shopping completely until that set no longer meets your needs. If the ST30 makes you happy now, it is unlikely that the ST50 will make you happier UNLESS you obsess about the newer model. In that case nothing will make you happy.

I will say, I was always a Fall/Winter TV buyer, then I jumped on that Spring "get em while they are new" buying. Never again.
I like waiting till Oct/Nov, prices have reduced drastically, AND there are a ton of reviews allowing to know all the problems of a display before you buy.
I love my D7000, dont get me wrong, but knowing everything I know right now, I would have not bought it in April, and bought a 65VT30 late last year for about the same price. Not that the VT30 is this huge upgrade, but it does have better blacks, and I would have spent the same money.
I think if you buy now you get a proven, safe display for 2011. If you buy a ST50 in April, you over-pay and who the hell knows what you get

But.....if you like Tulsa King....looks like you would probably like this as well. I don't mind spin-offs as long as they don't involve a sassy niece who moves from the big cityAnother Tulsa King spin off.
I thought I would come here and find lots of complaints about the update to the dish anywhere mobile app, but am not seeing any. It used to look just like the desktop webpage. Now you can no longer filter by sports channels or movie channels. Plus that they made it look like a big button telephone and you see fewer channels in the screen which requires more scrolling. Yes I realize you can look at sports then select which sport you want to look at, I just liked being able to see all sporting events in the guide with all other channels being filtered out. Am I alone in the wilderness on this?

Tony is not serious enough for me. Parker is too close to the team and Tim is too young to take over IMO.

Might be worth a watch when it comes out. Looks like typical big corp against the little guy movie BUT....there is a reason this plot type is so oft repeated, it draws audiences.

If you're going try to read / listen to the book (can't recommend the audio book enough) before this comes out, I'd avoid trailers.

I had quit watching this show years ago because I ended up more annoyed than entertained. Well......I'm STILL more annoyed than entertained. I DO find it interesting to see how things work behind the scenes at many businesses. What annoys me is how utterly out of touch CEOs are with the companies they run. At the end of almost every episode the head of the company is amazed at how hard the employees have to work and many times have to work around impossible guidelines set forth from headquarters.
I found this one interesting because the new CEO had big plans for this company, Muscle Maker Grill, and it looked like the stores were all pretty busy. Recent history hasn't been good to this company however. I bet the covid lockdowns were the real killer.
