Features and Benefits
Winegard's Pathway X2 works exclusively with DISH HD technology and programming and future-proofs RVers who increasingly have more than one HDTV on board and want to watch locals in HD wherever they are.

Please note: Only the one-TV configuration guarantees the ability to watch locals in HD anywhere in the Continental United States since the antenna can be pointed to either the Western or Eastern Arc satellite orbitals (see the "Powerful" section below and the "Versatile" section on page 2). In the two-TV mode, the Pathway X2 automatically points to 72.7° only which offers limited local viewership. As a workaround, customers may purchase an over-the-air antenna and feed the antenna's coaxial cable directly into the back of the ViP 211k receiver. The ViP 211z receiver requires the USB Digital OTA Tuner available from DISH for $30 on mydish.com in order to connect an over-the-air antenna. RVers also have the choices of calling DISH to change their service address based on where they are located to receive satellite locals or subscribing to Distant Network service channels from New York and San Francisco through AllAmericanDirect.com (company separately bills customers for this service).

Powerful
• Connect up to two separate receivers for independent channel viewing on two separate HD TVs at the same time;
• Supports viewing all local channels in HD in the Continental United States in one-TV mode;
• One-TV mode: automatically points to either Western Arc satellite orbitals (110°, 119° and 129°) or Eastern Arc satellite orbitals (61.5°, 72.7° and 77°);
• Two-TV mode: automatically points to 72.7° only.

Automatic, Easy Set Up
• Fully-automatic (customer just picks the state location / zip code)
o Automatically finds DISH satellite orbital locations;
o Self-installs faster than other automatic antennas; and
o Start watching live HDTV in less than 15 minutes! (initial setup takes longer as receiver requires activation and updating)

Portable and Lightweight
• Weight: 16 pounds;
• Reflector size: 18 inches;
• Dimensions: 15 inches deep by 20.75 inches high;
• Operating temperatures: -13° F (-25° C) to 140° F (60° C);
• Powered via coaxial cable from the primary receiver (120 volts AC); and
• Integrated security handle.

Versatile
• Uses the 110°, 119° and 129° orbital locations (Western Arc) AND the 61.5°, 72.7° and 77° (Eastern Arc) single orbitals

  • 2 TVs (a receiver on each TV)
  • Points to 72.7° Eastern Arc only;
  • Single orbital location prevents channel/orbital conflicts between the receivers, so customers can enjoy seamless viewing simultaneously on two TVs; and
  • Primary receiver displays Mobile Antenna Setup screen so the customer just picks their state; the secondary receiver requires ordinary check switch test

1 TV (one receiver)
  • Points to either 110°, 119° and 129° (Western Arc) OR 61.5°, 72.7° and 77° (Eastern Arc);
  • Channel changes will prompt antenna to point to required orbital; and
  • Customer receives locals in HD wherever they camp.

The Pathway X2 will have an MSRP of $449

Or 411. Just these single tuner units and the software loaded into them.

I'm sure the receivers send the same signals about which satellite to this unit as they do to the Dish Tailgater.

I'll bet Dish is happy to get the free advertising and extra customers.

Well not exactly the same because the tailgater can't get eastern arc.

Hmmm. Did Dish make a software change? Or does the antenna unit maintain a lookup table? Or Dish always sent a standard signal listing all sats the channel is on?

Hmmm.

Sometimes a thread gets so many posts in it that is can cause issues for the server so that why today we introduce The Song Name Game Part 3!

So let the game continue!

The last song was added by Bobby who posted...

One Meat Ball - Andrews Sisters

CONTINUE ON AND HAVE FUN! WELCOME HOME TO SATELLITEGUYS.US!

Here are the original rules for the game as posted by WebbyDude back in 2006. http://www.satelliteguys.us/threads/68645-Song-Name-Game

Just name a song title and the band who performed it. The next person does the same thing, but needs to list a song title or band name which includes a word from the previous entry. Pick songs from any genre.

Example:

Long Live Rock and Roll -- Rainbow

Rainbow in the Dark -- Dio

Another example:

Ride the Lightning -- Metallica

Lightning Strikes -- Ozzy Osbourne

Get it?

An additional note: we all know that song titles, sometimes, use profane words. Because this is a family friendly website it is advised that you clean up that title up a bit. This is accomplished by using something like sh!t instead of the real word. Thanks....

I'm getting fabulous picture on Ch. 148 4k, but zero audio with H713. This is with a recorded show (Notre Dame game). Anyone else have this? Audio is fine on every other channel.

It's a known issue.
For a temporary fix, go into the menu, Audio, and turn Dolby Audio "OFF". You will have PCM stereo audio.

I was able to give the tech ops team some data logs so they could diagnose the problem, and they rolled me back to H708 temporarily. It fixed that issue.

They let me know that they understand what caused the issue, and it will be fixed within a few weeks in a new update.

I guess they will be busy when lots of people start asking for rollbacks to H708 now that you mention that downgrades of software does exist because it will likely fix the OTA Single Tuner and the IR Remote problems in H710-H713.

it will likely fix the OTA Single Tuner

Stargate SG-1 cancelled, Atlantis renewed

The future of Stargate is in question today, as SCI FI Channel has cancelled the long-running Stargate SG-1, Multichannel News reported today and a GateWorld source has confirmed. The news regrettably follows the airing of the show's milestone two-hundredth episode on Friday.

Stargate Atlantis, meanwhile, has been renewed for a fourth season, with the network hoping to see that the spin-off series can stand alone, according to a source.

I have gotten back into watching SG-1 and I have recorded most of the episodes to binge watch. What episodes are about the Antarctic or was this a movie? Also where could I watch the SG-1 movies?

Well, there are a couple involving the Antarctic. "Solitudes", S1 E17 (one of my favorites), Then, "Lost City', S7 E21 and E22. Then, in the SGA pilot, "Rising", S1 E1 and E2, it starts out in the Antarctic for about the first 20 minutes or so.

Which one has O'Neil being Ancients? I am at the end of Season 8 now.

If I understand your question, O'Neill had the Ancient's knowledge in the "Lost City" two-part episode. That was when Anubis attacked Earth and there was a big battle over Antarctica.
