Are you able to get any of the following transponders on your mini-BUD?
89W 3820,3940,4100
91W 3800,4060
93W 3880
95W 4020,4140,4160
97W 3720,3740,3800,3880,4000
99W 3940,3980,4120
121W 4040
137W 4160

I tried briefly to find 89W today but couldn't get a blip although I'll def be trying again once the dish is on the motor as in retropspect I think I had wrong skew. I'll post my findings on the other satellites once I have the dish mounted on the motor

91W transponders I'm able to receive (all blindscanned):
3720000
3800353
3820348
3840350
3920346
3927343
4007560
4013841
4020338
4040340
4096049
4134073
4140328
4160320

You scanned in 72 TV channels on Galaxy 17 C-band using a 4' dish? I scan in that many on my 8', about 64 on my 6' and less with my 4'. I need to adjust some of my dishes before summer is over.

I was pretty surprised myself as I honestly wasn't expecting much after reading about every thread here on the topic of 4ft Cband dishes. I'd have to check but I think I was getting signal from most of the transponders on lyngsat.

Could someone give me a couple of strong transponders for Galaxy28 89W?

Using my Geosat Pro 1.2M dish, I have 62 video and over 50 Radio Channels coming from Galaxy 17 C-Band. I was even able to Lock and display a DVB-S2 8PSK signal. This is sweet! To my surprise the WSI flat scalar outperformed, both my Conical Scalar (bought from a forum member) and original flat scalar that came with my C-BAND, DUAL OUTPUT, LNBF - C2 - GEOSATpro. Still have to do some final adjustments to the setup and that may increase the number of channels.:D

I have my Ku LNB back on right now but will swap back to the C later today. The last time I did a blind scan on 91W I found 80 channels :) although not all were pixelation free. I'm using the WSI conical scaler but have the flat one that came with my LNB so maybe I'll try it and see if its better or worse.

I'll have to check out the flat scaler. It would be welcome news to get better signal with the flat scaler as the conical has been working pretty good.

What make of LNB are you using with your setup? My Conical Scalar fits very tight around the GEOSATpro C2 C-Band LNB. Sliding it forward, backward or rotating it is a pain. I even tried to take off some paint coating off of the LNB to free up some space between the LNB and the Conical Scalar, but its still tight. :( But what surprised me the most is that the original flat scalar that came with the GEOSATpro C2 C-Band LNB was outperformed by the WSI flat scalar by a wide margin. The coating material (paint) used on the WSI scalar may be the key for the better result. I may have to coat the inside of both the conical scalar and the GEOSATpro C2 scalar with a similar color as the WSI scalar to see what I come up with.

I don't get much Cband signal at all during the day so can't check until later.

I'm using WSI DMX241 lnb
........hmmm! Pretty much all of my channels are present day & night. In my case, I noticed if I peak my dish with 3860 V, 30000 SR, most of all my channels come in strong. On my Coolsat 5K, I have Quality on that Transponder at 69 to 70. Let us know if that works for you.
