10 times up,still no homer

Everytime I try to load the 1.3 update in my Coolsat 4000 pro after it reboots it says 1.2 detected. What am I doing wrong? I read everything I can find on your site about this,but still no luck. Please help. Thanks.

I would say find a friend to help you that is very good with computers/electronics in general. Or, you could try a satellite retailer in your area preferably one that handles FTA. They might be able to help.

To upgrade the software on the Satworks 3618 I had to go into the accessory list, then system update and change the transfer type to read "PC to IRD." Look for something like this on your receiver, I am sure that all receivers would have something to the same effect to upgrade.

I too had the same problem, flashed the software over and over and over and it always went back to the old one. When I stumbled onto the above, and changed it, I got the upgrade the first time.
