1004 dish compatible?

I am installing a 1000.4 dish in rocky point mexico because i want to take my receiver 381, as a present subscriber to dishnet, for the weekend I spent there .Is it going to work?

You may need bigger reflectors to get a usable signal, you may find 72, but you will not be able to see much as you should be using an mpeg4 receiver for that orbital location and most of 61.5.

1k.4 is an Eastern Arc sat.

EA only supports MPEG4 receivers.

why would you want to waste money on a 1000.4 for a 381 receiver?
anyway, as stated above it wont work.

381 is no longer able to receive any HD from sat (MPEG2), only good for OTA HD and SD via sat.

Virtually useless with Dish 1000.4.

as said before 381 will NOT work whith 1000.4 dish. Get a Vip rec.or 1000.2 or 500 dish
