I just seen that someone posted at DBS Talk that D* has started sending software version 109f the the R15-500 to customers on the West coast today and will send it to everyone else in the country on 2-21-06.

From what I understand:

1. Hard Disk Space Monitor. At times, the hard drive monitor would not accurately reflect the true amount of free space. This led to the possiblity of shows being "cleared" out, when they didn't need to be.

2.Improved logic for the Series Links

3. Resetting of the Default record options

4. Overall stability of the box....

Here's an update I just seen on DBStalk that Directv has started sending out a newer update to R15-500 receivers the version this time is 10A3.

My receiver got the 10A3 update this morning and so far the FF and Rewind buttons work smoother and to me the whole reciever seems to be working smoother.

I got 10a3 on 2/21...changing channels seems a bit faster when using the CH +/- button..

Any word on whether or not this new update fixed the series link issues with recording the wrong shows?
