118 Setup with DPH42

Hey guys,

Can you please let me know if this setup will work for my dish?

Dish Network DPP 500 Plus + LNB 119, 110, 118.7 (I am only installing dish for International Channels so don't really care for 129)

LNB wires out to DPH42 with power inserter
DPH42 wires out to solo hub
Solo hub to Hopper 3 and a 2 way splitter to 2 Joeys

One of my friends was saying Hopper 3 won't work with the DPP 500+ Lnb for international channels on 118 ? Is that true? If so, what can be the solution?

It looks like that will work. One wire from the DPH42 to the solo hub is all you need.

You need a DPH42 like you described to make it work with 118.
