I have a no idea to kill this... let me see if I can get it done either today or tomorrow.

Is there any plan to put NHLAlt on 158 so it is right next to NHL Network? Sort of how the ESPN Alt's are in the ESPN range? I wouldn't think to look on channel 5449 for a game.

They do the same for BIg10 Net alts.
Big10 is 439
the alts are 5440-5448 or something like that

Since it is used so sparingly why take up a good channel #?

side note...DIrectv added their version and put it on same spot as the MLB Net alt...one channel doing double duty

Being in Chicago, I wasn't blacked out of the main NHL Network game last night, but if I were blacked out, I would have had no idea that there was this extra channel at 5449. With the big ten alternates, in the program description, it would say something like "College Football: Additional games can be found on channels #####" I didn't see that in the description of the NHL Network game last night. So if there is nothing pointing someone to another channel, I don't think people would even think to look that far down. After all, ESPN has how many alternates right next to ESPN2
