Sorry if I've been in a coma, but is this something new? Is it a test for the new sat? I thought the current hunk-o-junk was conus only.

Lyngsat shows E5-tp15 as empty - CONUS. Tony's chart shows nothing for tp15. What channel were you watching when you went to Point Dish?
This is for Ciel2. There were some brief tests for the spot beams that this satellite will bring to 129º. Unfortunately the test tables blew up the 211 receivers so Dish had to remove the tables the same day!

like Tony indicated, a test for the new sat. However, he was incorrect in that my 211s are still functioning ok
Wasn't watching a channel, just running thru the transponders checking signal levels or the lack thereof!

Dish removed the tables the very same day... your 211 probably malfunctioned but they fixed it within a few hours.
There is a 15 in the tables and it is most likely being used for tests and would come and go if that is the case. An indication of "Spotbeam" does not require a Spotbeam, only a transponder programmed to indicate that.
