Quick turn around on those RTN channels... I didn't even know there were 85 Horse / Dog racing tracks in the USA.

There is during the summer. Lots of tracks in the northern climate are only open from memorial day-labour day.
But this is where stupidity channel wise rears its ugly head.

You have tracks that are daytime only and some that are nighttime only. And you've got the European/Asian/Australian tracks. Why not reuse the channel? I dont know if this RTN is what was on G3 KU Band but back then they re-used the channels. So on one channel you might see a dog track that is daytime only, then a nightime only track then even the Australian tracks later

Looks like they are using one channel per track so for 20 hours a day its either a black screen or a "slate"

16-18 ch per transponder for the tracks, 8-10 ch for the other ch on 118

and considering those racetrack feeds look like crap on the original uplink (on C-Band) I shutter to think what they look like once they're downlinked, compressed, and reuplinked for customers

Hi, I could not find the above Free preview in channel# 583, any pointers. I checked and ensured that the channel 582 preview is available and i could watch the same.

Just wondering whether i am pointing to the right satellite to receive this channel.
