I'm moving to a house where I will have the setup of 2 HD tv's in two different livingrooms plus 2 bedroom tv's (standards). I currently am using 1 HDTV with the VIP722 and 1 standard bedroom tv.

What would be the best way to upgrade to add the HD and SD tv? Add another 722 to control the two or just get separate receivers? Plus, what is the monthly added cost for doing this?

If you want dvr's then get a 722, if not then a 222. Additional costs would be additional/leased receiver (I think it is now $5, it was $7), and depending on your programin $5.98 for the dvr fee with the 722. Also, don't forget additional tuner fee of $5 each is not hooked up to phone line or dsl.

I would upgrade to another 722 for ~$100, this way you would have great HD on two sets with lots of hard drive space and SD on two tvs with access to the DVRs.

ps if you want to save some jack you could go with a 622 for ~$50
