Tried a search and couldn't find anything...

Is it possible to have 2 separate Dish remotes control the same receiver, and if so, how do I set it up?

I want to have 2 remotes in the living room, controlling the sat box for the living room tv at the same time, one for me, one for the wife.

I have a 722k...

Thanks

Yes, as long as the remote address is the same.

How do I set it up?

I bought a new set of 2 remotes (1 IR, 1 UHF), now I have 4 total.

I want to have both IR remotes operate receiver #1.

I tried pairing the second remote with the receiver, but it would only allow me to switch from one to the other, I could never get them both to work at the same time.

Can anyone tell me how to get this to work, with step-by-step instructions for the not-so-smart?

Thanks

Read your instruction book on setting the remote address. If you are using address 5 for TV 1 both remotes need to be set to address #5.
