I would like to add a second receiver and second TV to my existing dish set up. I would like to know what I need to accomplish this beyond the second receiver. Can I split my incoming line from the dish to the 2 receivers? Or is there some other way to accomplish this?

Thank you.

You will need another line from the dish to the location of the receiver you want to add.

You might have a second line available at a ground block somewhere on your house or in your basement that you could connect to but you'll have to look and check that out.

Coax cable... If you are going to add it yourself, make it RG6. You are going to need to activate that second receiver as well. It will cost you $7 a month for it....

So I hook another cable to the dish and run it to the new/2nd receiver. My dish has 4 connections, which one would I use?

From the left; 1, 2 or 3. Do not use the 4th port which is the one on the right.
