As a follow-up to my previous question, is there any point/advantage to using a 20" dish with the two LNB's with a single, non-HDTV, receiver set-up? (ostensibly pointed at Nimiq 91)

Can you "degrade" the dual LNB head to a single LNB to take better advantage of the greater dish area? (I can only assume that the dual (91, 82) LNB set-up is some sort of compromise with signal strength compared to a single LNB set-up, pointing at one satellite...)

Thanks.

there are some channels on the 2nd satellite

but there is no advantage in signal whether you have one or two lnb's.....need a bigger dish for that :)

No dish sold with SC recievers!!
