They need a Desperate Housewives replacement. GCB failed. Revenge is essentially a soap opera, it could do well as a replacement for Desperate Housewives.

Looking at the new shows coming out, there seems to be a lot of soapy type shows next year. DH, GCH, etc. are too soapy for me. If it wasn't for my daughters, I probably wouldn't have even watched Secret Circle.

Big budget soaps do well, there is a large segment that likes to watch them. But, they need something to differentiate themselves from each other. Desperate Housewives did well, GCB did not.

I watched this show because my wife liked it , but I always referred to it as the Secret Circle Jerk.;)

Bold move airing Revenge on Sunday night, although I can think of several better adjectives to describe this move...risky, foolish, silly, stupid, etc. The only thing I like about this move is that the show will air an hour earlier.

Excellent thread!

Offhand, NBC continues their anti-Midas ways. I may watch Law & Order: SVU from time-to-time along with Leno on the DVR...but that's it. If it weren't for Hockey and the Olympics I may be tempted to removing the channel from my favorites.

ABC has a number of new shows premiering this fall. Unfortunately, nothing is grabbing my attention at this point. I'm not completely sure, but I think moving Revenge to Sunday night is a boneheaded move. However, DWTS followed by The Bachelor and Castle should be a good night for them.

FOX also has several new shows that are NOT grabbing my attention. We shall see. However, I cannot believe they moved Touch to Friday night. What were they thinking? Are they doing this to provide a better a better lead-in for Fringe? Or are they trying to complete with CBS? Big mistake IMO! Fringe is only airing 13-episodes and it's more likely that Friday/Fringe will cause Touch's ratings to plummet.

CBS? I imagine their fall lineup will be posted shortly.

CBS has it's upfront today. I can't imagine that we won't know the fate of the one bubble show and the full schedule after that.

Not going to have much left on my DVR after this past season.

So far the only one I am definitely going to record is Once Upon a Time

CBS 2012/2013 Schedule

Bold move moving 2 and a half Men to Thursday. This is to try to shore up the weak 8:30 timeslot following BBT. Biggest sursprise is moving The Mentalist to Sunday. Must be trying to bring up ratings for Good Wife. Hopefully the earlier time slot for CSI:NY will bode well.

8:30-9 p.m. – PARTNERS
9-9:30 p.m. – 2 Broke Girls
9:30-10 p.m. – Mike & Molly

Dammit...no Jericho or The Defenders. Offhand, I am not warming up to any of CBS' new shows. It looks like we're going to have a lot less television time this fall.

Jericho and the Defenders? Are you sure you aren't waiting for another revival of Make room For Daddy?
