Your not benching Prince to get Kelly in the line up ... Your benching Prince because he deserves it.

You can pick whoever you want off the bench to play,, stick Toui out in LF if ya want.

Thats because Kelly was the bubble player the last few years to make the team or not.

And he made another out in a big situation. I still think you have to play your best guys though. Prince is one of the guys that got us here. We need to keep him on the field and hope he gets back to his normal self.

Bill, I always felt that Napoli was a good pick up for the Sox.

I hate him as a player, he use to kill the Tigers when he was in Texas.

I respect him greatly.

I think your getting the Napoli that the Tigers use to dread in this series.

You could have said the same thing about Jackson until yesterday. He was striking out just about every time he came to the plate. Leyland stuck with him and he has been our hottest hitter the last 2 games.

IMO, he's been their best reliever in this series.

He hit about 40 points less than last year this year.
Your happy with him hitting .279 and hitting 25 HR's ?
He rarely ever comes thru in the clutch, they put Martinez behind him for protection and he still doesn't hit.

I said he's one of the guys that got us here. He certainly did more than Kelly or the other benchwarmers you want to put in his place.

If you honestly think they are better off with one of those guys in the lineup I can understand what you are saying. I would disagree but at least I could understand it. If you just want to bench him to get revenge on him or prove a point to him I think that's silly. We are trying to win the World Series and we need our best players on the field.

Prince has 3 rbi the WHOLE Post Season.

I went to the bathroom and brushed/flossed my teeth during his bat...and asked if he struck-out or grounded out to 2nd. No surprises here. Right now Prince would ground out if he were playing t-ball. Prince was productive during the year, but it's painfully obvious that he is struggling and something needs to be done. Will Leyland step-up and do something? Perhaps he can move him down to the 8th stop behind Jackson?
