The craigslist in my area is listing a 20' solid metal dish for use as a 4' deep pond for $350. As bigger is better, anyone interested?
I don't know if it's a 20' solid metal dish just because they said so. And is it in the ground now as a pond, that would make me wonder if it was in good condition. Could be warped. Did they say it still had the mount on it? I would like to see some pictures of it. I think they might be just blowing smoke! The craigslist in my area is listing a 20' solid metal dish for use as a 4' deep pond for $350. As bigger is better, anyone interested?
Missing the mount and wondering if it was warped. I think I would pass on it. There are loots of other free ones out there.I just got through talking to the seller. He bought it to use as a pond and has no feedhorn or mount. The panels are fiberglass-encased. As he is an ex-DoD contractor of radomes, the dish may be of military origin.
