211 : how do i remove analog local channels?

I presume you mean the x-00 channels, i.e. 2-00 (satellite analog) vs 2-01, 2-02 (OTA or satellite-provided HDs) ?? You can't. All you can do is make your own favorite list that excludes them.

Neither receiver will allow you to program the analog channels into them (they do not have the tuner for analog). Are you trying to stop the map down of the Dish supplied channels?
