222 weird remote problem

have 222 vip... tv 1 remote will not work untill you go to tv 2 in bedroom and wake it up.....can any body help???

Unplug AC power count to 10 plug back in and hope.

Also, disable inactivity standby (Menu, Preferences, Updates) and set an autotune timer to wake the receiver after the nightly updates.

And replace the batteries in the remote.
