2700 turns off and on

IT seems as if my 2700 will turn itself off, and on again automatically. Something wrong with my unit? Card? COuld the quality of cable linking the dish to the unit be cause for concern if it is not the right kind?

mah. If the cable was rg59, it would cut out, not shut off.

sounds like the unit is getting up on old age

May be a short somewhere disconnect all connections, give them a blow out (or renew) and reconnect everything, worth a try!

NO!! I guess I'll have to bring it in for repair. This sucks.

Might be trying to take an update. Press the sys info button and see what version the current fw is.

Maybe it is doing the reboots like the 301's were doing but I havent heard of the 2700's/legacy's doing this.
