I'm glad to see Dish finally updated WRJM to WIYC in the Montgomery area. However, it still lists it as "MY." We lost our MyNet months ago and got this country music video station instead. This one was actually not Dish's fault. Dish gave me the Superstations for no charge so I would have a MyNet affiliate. (or two)

What station is this? The affiliation and DMA location of each station is a database I maintain by hand of each station. I rely on you folks, Wikipedia, and the FCC database(location of license) to keep these up to date. If I see some missing, I update these but if they are not missing I assume they are still correct.

Also, on the station renames, currently the uplink tool reports the station location/affiliation on the name on the left. If you click on the spotbeam link for that station on the report, you'll notice I do not have an entry from WIYC. I'll update this station as soon I as get some info on this one.

On another note, the next revision of the uplink report tool will report the sub channel's location such as KJCTD as the master record of KJCT is I do not have a listing of KJCTD itself.

So, if you see incorrect and/or missing information your stations on the reports and/or TheList please PM me with the info and I will update it.

Wonder what the point of moving PBS from Georgia and NC from 119 to 110 was?

Probably prepping for E14 since they'll have to shift programming on the beams when E7 to E14 conversion is done. If you can move stuff off of 119's spotbeams to 110 that's just less to deal with.

One of the reasons they want pure arc installs... as they could shift programming off 119 to 129 since some areas have room too. But of course it wasn't until recently that SD installs also got 129 too on WA.

What was on the DNFYI HD channel? I noticed it last night, and it seems today they took it down.

Everytime I checked it just gave me a message saying that the this special event is not available for purchase so I am glad they took it off since there was nothing on there. If they would only really use the channel and put the Charlie and Tech Chats in HD but they won't.

its licensed to Pasco and is a sister station to Yakima KIMA

They are both in the Yakima DMA

Interesting... I punched in a Yakima address in dishnetwork's local channel verification site and indeed they have two CBS's. Two CBS HD channels in the DMA. Nice!

Sort of like Grand Rapids, MI - 2 ABC stations in HD
WZZM/13 serves the north part of the market and I would conside the primary affil
WOTV/41 serves the south part of the market

Interestingly enough, WOOD/8, the NBC station, owns WOTV/41... That's probably how WOTV ended up on sat in HD...
