Sling TV added three new channels:

* Cheddar<http://blog.sling.com/announcements/live-from-the-new-york-stock-exchange-cheddar-brings-daily-technology-media-and-culture-news-to-sling-tv/>--Delivering live news about innovative products, technologies and services from New York City, Cheddar is a 24/7 live linear network, now exclusively available on Sling TV. Cheddar has been added to our core service for both Sling Orange and Sling Blue customers.

* TheBlaze<http://blog.sling.com/announcements/theblaze-arrives-on-sling-tv/>--With election season in full swing, we've added TheBlaze, a 24/7 digital television network featuring news and opinion shows, topical comedies, family-friendly programming and more. TheBlaze is now available in the News Extra add-on pack, priced at $5 per month for Sling Orange and Sling Blue customers.

* Sling Kids<http://blog.sling.com/announcements/keep-the-kids-entertained-for-hours-with-sling-kids-on-demand-channel/>-Sling TV is now more kid-friendly than ever with the addition of Sling Kids, an on-demand channel with over 200 titles from Kabillion, Kaboom and Splash. Content on Sling Kids is divided into age categories, so kids can easily access age-appropriate TV shows and movies. Sling Kids is now part of our Kids Extra add-on pack, priced at $5 per month for Sling Orange and Sling Blue customers.

Who knows what the future might hold. ;) Sling TV keeps growing and growing.
Well, the future better hurry up because Vue has had a dvr for quite some time. And pretty soon there will be more competition that will offer it (if the rumors about Hulu's upcoming service is true). Sling risks becoming an alsoran in this market.

MLB Network(& maybe NBA TV) should be next on their list. They do have VOD on most of their channels, which can substitute for "cloud DVR," especially since their VOD is also cloud based.

None of those 3 channels does anything for anyone in our house lol. The kids channel might be ok if you've got children at home. Hopefully a few more good channels by years end....
