311 problem

I have been having problems with my 311. When a comercial comes on just the interactive ones where you can hit select for whatever. I have been having a black box pop up with some numbers sort of like a web address i have to hit cancel to get this off the screen. Again just happens during interactive things. Will post the exact numbers and letters that come up next time it does this, Anyone else having this problem

Disabled enhancments in menu still no luck here is what is popping up in a black box covering half the screen

neat. i wonder if its a conflict with the tv displaying what it is supposed to. have you tried another tv?

Have you tried turning closed captioning off on the TV set? I actually suspect it is a text box.

My sister in law was having popups and channel blocks. It turned out to be the tv and not the receiver. You should check the tv as well.

I agree with boba. It sounds like a captioning conflict.

Thanks guys you were correct it seemed to be closed captioning got turned on somehow on tv. Working good now. Thanks
