3800 r'cvr freezes

Last night my wife said watch this...
we were watching a program and she punched in 6012 (sirius music channel)
and the program we were watching froze on the screen and the sirius screen saver was moving around, as usual, and the audio for sirius was there.
no audio from the previous program just the video freeze.
now if she went to the program guide and changed the channel everything is as it should be.
also, if you would hit "recall" there is a momentary wait before it would change channels. never did that before.
any ideas?

Reset your 3900 receiver or better yet upgrade to a newer model.
