GDPR makes it mandatory that any EU citizen can request total erasure of any personal data, so your statement is opposite of the law. Also, California adopted a similar regulation covering CA residents that starts in January, so Scott may need to implement some means of making a SatelliteGuy vanish from the face of the earth. That could get ugly…

edit: …or not, as he California law AB 375 applies to companies with business over $25,000,000, so unless Scott gets buttloads of donations, I think we're all safe.

That's not true as our servers are all in the US and we don't sell anything. We are not obligated to the GDPR rules and regulations.

As with any forum you agree when you sign up that all tour posts become property of the forum. This is why we don't let you edit or delete your posts after a certain period of time.

I would like to think of SatelliteGuys as a satellite time capsule as we have almost every post that has been posted here since we started the place. :)

Why do you think he is an EU citizen? You can put any location you want to in your profile.

Amazing how this thread got off topic based on one assumption. :)

Wasn't me...but the guys posts have a European feel to them....most Americans would never consider reporting privacy concerns...Americans are too busy posting on social media to worry about such things
I asked why you thought he was.
