Teddy Long danced in the ring and said there would be challenges and new changes that would affect everyone in WWE. He said Vickie Guerrero is no longer the general manager of Smackdown because she moved into the same role on Raw. Teddy said he's been appointed the new general manager of Smackdown. The crowd cheered. He introduced Tiffany as the new general manager of ECW.
Tiffany walked to the ring. She was quickly interrupted by Jack Swagger's entrance music. Striker came to the ring wearing a suit with the ECW draped over his shoulder. Swagger congratulated Tiffany and told her there are different rules for him compared to everyone else.
She responded by saying that there's a good chance Swagger won't be on ECW after the draft. She said he should be concerned with who he will face at Backlash. She said there will be an "elimination chase" with Mark Henry, Finlay, Tommy Dreamer, and Christian to determine the No. 1 contender for the ECW Title. She said the chase begins in a fatal four-way match later in the show...
The announcers hyped the six-man tag match for after the break... [C] The John Cena media tour footage aired...
[Q2] 1. Evan Bourne, Carlito, and Primo defeated John Morrison, The Miz, and Tyson Kidd (w/Natalya) in 14:20. Standard action until Bourne tagged into the match and popped the crowd, but then the show cut to commercial. [C] After the break, the heels took turns working over Bourne by targeting his back. Bourne made a hot tag. Primo hit the Backstabber on Kidd, and Bourne following up with a Shooting Star Press for the win...

[Q4] 2. Finlay (w/Hornswoggle) beat Mark Henry (w/Tony Atlas), Christian, and Tommy Dreamer in a four-way in 9:55. Striker pointed out that Christian had seven stitches around his eye. Ouch. Henry scored the early advantage and was the only wrestler standing when the show cut to a quick commercial break. [C]
At 8:00, Finlay went for the Celtic Cross, but Christian countered into a pin attempt for a near fall. Dreamer tied up Finlay in the tree of woe. He did the ECW bit and it sounded like 20 people chanted along. He hit his usual slide kick and then yelled to get a reaction out of the crowd, which was greeted by silence.
The fans did react when Henry cut off Dreamer a few seconds later. In the end, Henry set up Dreamer for the World's Strongest Slam, but Finlay hit him with Henry with his stupid shillelagh and scored the pin. The announcers noted that Henry is now eliminated from the chase, so next week's show will feature a three-way match between Finlay, Christian, and Dreamer...
