WOW... give me the channel numbers to check and I can pull up the TP's for a quick check. I'll do it later after the second uplink runs today. I don't have a dedicated dish like I do on 110/129/91, so I'll have to swing the motorized over to 61.5 and pull the uplink process down for a few minutes.
Since the poster only wants to know whether the TMPs are slates or video, then it will exactly the same on 61.5 and 129, so you don't need to bother checking 61.5. Just check 129 and that will be the answer he is looking for.

That isn't always the truth.

This is the truth though. Earth Day is almost over and Dish still hasn't lit up 212. How ironic is it, that the channel is launched in celebration of Earth Day, but won't be available for most of it? I'm surprised that Dish didn't wait till now to air the presidential debates!

Just EPG data.. check the channel range and channel tag.

110 TP 7 - 4 active video streams
110 TP 13 - 4 active video streams
110 TP 17 - 6 active video streams

When I say active I mean non-slate type bandwidths. HD on 110 TP 7 and 13 should look great compared to 61.5/129 national HD.

Great! Check TP 1 - 16 and let us know. Make sure they lock as spotbeam otherwise it is probably just switch "bleed".

Six foot dish - VIP-722

5 = 80 - Spot
7 = 80 - Spot
8 = 82
9 = 77
10 = 86 - Spot
12 = 94 - Spot
15 = 25
16 = 15
17 = 26
18 = 18
19 = 26
20 = 18
21 = 38
22 = 18
23 = 27
24 = 18
25 = 25
26 = 18
27 = 26
28 = 20
29 = 25
30 = 18
31 = 26
32 = 28

Dish will be late for their own funeral.

If there is no signal on either 61.5 or 129, then there is no reason to think that the channel is being prepared to become available to customers, which is the poster wants to know.

Again... not always true. I've seen several times where they have the signals on one bird and not another.

The only need to put them up on the bird the engineers are watching/testing.

I have Roanoke locals and now have a channel 77 that says I now have my locals available in HD. Does that mean they are being turned on today?

They were added to the spot beam on Ciel-2 yesterday, but there was no announcment concerning them on the Twitter HDTuesday thing yesterday. If the Roanoke HD Locals go live today, I will be very pleasantly surprised, especially since Lost is on tonight.

Seems to be on everybody's guide.
I can tune to it here in the New orleans area. We got our hd locals a while back.
It is just a loop telling how your locals are now in hd and more national hd coming soon, the leader in hd with over 130 natl hd, etc, etc, etc.
