Nearly all HD except platinum to be available to alaska and hawaii.

OK, where do you get your info from? I looked up dish 500AK on Google and I'm not convinced a 22" dish would work here. It would be nice if it would, lot less hardware.

not in position to know specifics of it. posting why i know is risky to me to do so.

however, if all hd is being put on spotbeams for ak and spotbeams are stronger, than perhaps that will overcome dish size.

I guess just wait for may 8th, or a few weeks after that...
