Hi All,

I got my first C band dish - which is a 4 footer. I have not included any pics since i wanted to get some prelim info first.

I have a dish set up for KU already using two LNBs connected to a switch ( 4X1 DiSEqC ). Can I connect this C band dish to my switch or do I need 'special' equipment?

wow

well yea a 4ft is small but I wish I had one. That is what I have room for. Just don't expect to get everything and yea I bet the ku is great. If I plucked up a 4ft older dish. I would try cband with a newer lnbf. Has to be better than using a 1.2meter. PS. I'm talking about the offset compaired to a real cband dish. For those of you remeber. they actually did and still do make true C-band 4ft dishes (prime focus dish). Though there is several threads about 1.0 and 1.2 meter dishes being used for cband.

I have a 4 ft Prime Focus. I have not set it up yet but when I do I am going to use the newer c-band LNBF's

My CM 4' dish performs extremely well on C-Band here in PA. In fact, I would say it performs as well as my 6' Fortec dish from Sadoun. Good luck and have fun experimenting.

good to hear!

I just scored a 4' prime focus with ground mount for $20 - it only has a Ku LNB on it, but I've got a couple of C-band LNBF's (BSC-621, and a Digiwave)

I am hoping to be able to pull in the nets & feeds from G16 on it (I am near the US border in BC).

For some strange reason my wife does not want me to put a 10'-12' dish up - not even in the back yard!

a 4 foot prime focus would work better than a offset in most cases :)

Let us know how it works out. I got my 4 footer for $25.00

I picked up a 10 ft.prime focus for just saying"I'll take it down if you give it to me".

The words were easy to say but what fun it was to dig up the pole!

Up graded lnb to a bsc621-2.

Lot of fun but will soon upgrade lnb again.

Can't help myself! Nothing like discovering a satellite with programing on it.

I MUST CONFESS I'M HOOKED.....
