$4 CalAmp DirecTV

I got almost everything Pole, Mount, Dish, Main LNB and side lnb mount bracket.

But I did not get the additional side LNB.

$4... I said to myself, I paid about $45 for the pole alone for my FTA Dish mount. Sold!

NOW... Did I save my life by avoiding a Number 2 Value meal and wasted it on this purchase?

or

Can the CalAmp Model 151586 and the big square dish be used for current SD DirecTV system?

What Sats does the main lnb see?

I'm guessing if the LNB won't work I'll just drill and mount my old LNB on the huge square dish for gain of signal. Any problems with that?

That looks like the 1st generation 5 LNB array. AND this needs a specific dish reflector designed for the 5 LNB; it can't be added to just any dish.


Main LNB:
Spaceway 2 & DirecTV 11 at 99.2°W
DirecTV 4S/8 at 101.0°W
Spaceway 1 & DirecTV 10 at 102.8°W

Sidecar LNB:
DirecTV 5 at 109.8°W
DirecTV 7S at 119.0°W
