I watched some of the Raptors vs Spurs game yesterday and thought it was stunning. There were a couple of short glitches, but nothing major. I had set it up to record, but the guide was screwed up and I got three hours of the ATT logo recorded at 3:00 am the morning before the game was played.

Sports Video Group Europe stated that all sixty-for games of next years' World Cup will be 4K. Here's the headline

"FIFA World Cup 2018: all matches to be produced in UHD/HDR in landmark move." Go to svgeurope.org.

Also SVG says that Fox installed 20 miles of fiber at Dodger Stadium for the World Series, but didn't mention any 4K.

From DirecTV:

Good news: More NBA 4K including one game in HDR

Bad news: You need an NBA League Pass to watch.

National Basketball Association

10/31 – Oklahoma vs Milwaukee, 8:00pm ET*
11/6 – Brooklyn @ Phoenix at 9:00 pm ET*
11/7 – Oklahoma City @ Sacramento at 10:00 pm ET*
11/20 – Indiana @ Orlando at 7:00pm ET*
11/27 – Dallas @ San Antonio at 8:30pm ET* (Available in 4K HDR**)

*NBA League Pass subscription required
** HDR capable TV required

Would like to see an HDR broadcast, but just can't justify a $200 package. I assume it will be HDR10 and not something like HLG.

Directv has removed the HDR note from their 4K schedule for the 11/27 game. It was designated as HDR yesterday.

In a news story I saw this afternoon is says for the NBA games all you need is the Xtra package or higher, not NBA League Pass.
