PFC Free preview only lasted 5 days

Does anyone knows if the HD versions of Free Previews are worse or is the same?
I recorded movies when Epix was in Free Preview and they didn't looked like good quality HD, and now I'm watching G4 and it looks HD but not the best HD quality.

They are not giving lower HD quality to customers who are only getting the channel because of the free previews. You are getting the same quality HD that those of us who pay for Epix and G4 are getting. I have been impressed with the quality of some of the Epix movies. American Ninja Warrior on G4 looked very soft to me last weekend though. I subscribe to both of these channels.

There are several factors that affect HD such as the source material and what else happens to be on the same transponder as the channel you are watching. One show or movie might look bad while the next one looks great on the same channel.

I also think that movies on Epix usually look great. If only Epix Drive-In was in HD.

I just happen to watch American Ninja Warrior late night over the weekend and thought it didn't look too bad on my Hopper. Certainly better then X-Play and AOTS... I thought maybe since ANW is going to show up on NBC primetime later in June that NBCUni might have spent a few more $$$ to up the production to network TV quality instead of the usual lower end basic cable budget.
